Information for Special Needs Travelers Capital Region International Airport strives to maximize safety and ease of movement for people of all physical abilities. We provide equipment for nonambulatory travelers and have incorporated features that make travel easy for everybody.

Parking Lot Transportation
Our EZ-Go Cart can transport passengers from the parking lot to terminal building. To use this service, passengers should drive under the canopy and find a skycab for assistance.

Curb Access
Curbside ramps may be found at both Arrivals and Departures.

Elevators
Elevators are conveniently located in the main passenger terminal. They have the standard ADA graphics and are equipped with Braille and raised markings on the control buttons.

Mobility Aids
Walkers, crutches and canes may be taken aboard the aircraft. Guide dogs are usually allowed to travel on the plane with you as well. Call the airline in advance to verify its policy and make arrangements. Information for Special Needs Travelers

  • Parking Parking at LAN is affordable and hassle-free. Our parking lots are located just outside the terminal, saving travelers precious minutes when arriving and departing. Each parking lot has convenient handicap parking spaces too.

  • Concierge Travel advisers at the Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center are available to help travelers plan trips and land the best deals!   • Wheelchairs The airlines will provide wheelchair assistance, upon request, to any passenger who needs it. Wheelchairs may be requested upon arrival at the passenger terminal by contacting any skycap. They may also be reserved in advance by calling the airline carrier on which you plan to travel.     Spartan Pub is conveniently located near the boarding gates and features a full-service cocktail lounge and branded mini food court, including Biggby coffee and deli menu items.
