Online Enhancements FAQ

We've made some recent enhancements to our online booking tool as we expand our service offerings here at Capital Region International Airport.

You may have questions about what has changed. Please see the information below to find out what we've done!

 

What are the online enhancements?

We have upgraded our online reservation system to the Rearden Personal Assistant. This is a state-of-the-art online booking engine that offers air, car and hotel reservations. Additionally, FlyLansing members will be able to book event tickets through StubHub and to make dining reservations through Open Table, two industry leading, online providers.

I already became a member, will I need to do anything?

Your travel profile information has been transferred to the new system. However, as our previous content provider is no longer in operation, not all information was able to be retained.Most members will have received an email in July of 2010 asking you to activate and review your membership profile. Without this activation step you will not be able to access your account.

Why can't I login now to my previously created account?

Inability to login to a previously created account has three possible answers:

  • Entering an incorrect username…for all accounts created before July 2010; usernames have been reset to the email address entered into the individuals account. For all accounts created after this date you have the ability to set your username to anything of your choice. You can click on the ‘forgot your username or password’ link (located under the orange ‘Sign-in’ button) and enter the email address you used to create your account. You will receive an email with your username.
  • Entering an incorrect password…passwords are case sensitive. For all accounts created before July 2010; you must have activated your account and reset a new password to be able to login. For all accounts created after July 2010; click on the ‘forgot your username or password’ link (located under the orange ‘Sign-in’ button) and enter the email address you used to create your account. You will receive an email with a link to enter the system and reset your password.
  • You have never activated your account…for all accounts; you may have deleted the ‘Activation’ email or if you have a ‘junk’ email folder set up it may have gone there as it is a system email and some carriers handle system emails as junk. Unless you click on the ‘Get Started Now’ orange button within the activation email you will not be able to login. To complete this step please call the online help desk, 888-387-3536. You will be resent the activation email or you may elect to have a temporary password set.

How do I create a new account?

Click on the ‘Book a Flight’ link in the reservations tab. Located under the orange ‘Sign-in’ button is the ‘Create a new account’ link, click on it. Enter the required information into the boxes and check the small box to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the FlyLansing privacy policy. Click the orange ‘Create an Account’ button located at the bottom right. The system will immediately send an activation email to the email you entered into the corresponding box. Open this email entitled ‘Review your Travel Profile with Fly Lansing’ click on the large orange button ‘Get Started Now’ (if your images are blocked you will need to unhide them by right clicking on the small x, choose ‘Download Pictures’ in the small menu that appears). Complete the short registration, once you click the save button, the system will take you to the search page where you can search for flight, hotels and/or cars.

Who is supporting my online transactions?

Capital Region International Airport went to bid earlier this year. Conlin Travel headquartered in Ann Arbor and with an office in Okemos, MI, was awarded the contract. They are the largest independently owned travel agency in Michigan and have a dedicated online team to assist with online transactions. Additionally, the Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center will continue to support vacation packages and other phone reservations.

Online assistance regarding your online account, logging in, errors when doing a search, etc.: 1-888-387-3536, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm - for Conlin Travel eServices (reservations cannot be made by phone at this number, please refer below)
