April 18, 2016 – Monday, April 18, 2016 FORT WORTH – In response to overwhelming support from residents, businesses and community leaders in Mid-Michigan, American Airlines will offer new, daily, nonstop service from Capital Region International Airport (LAN) in Lansing, Michigan to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Beginning July 5, the new service provides customers in Mid-Michigan with easy access to one of American’s premier hubs, which offers 250 flights to more than 60 destinations in four countries.

April 7, 2016 – The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) hereby requests from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter set forth, proposals to provide Uniform Rental Services, at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan, as more particularly, set forth in the contract. March 31, 2016 – March 31, 2016 LANSING, Mich. – The U.S. Department of Transportation announced today the approval of the American Airlines petition to the Federal Aviation Administration for an exemption to operate one round-trip flight (two slots) for service between Capital Region International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

August 11, 2015 – LANSING, Mich. – American Airlines has filed an application with the Federal Aviation Administration that would ensure nonstop air service continues between Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport (LAN) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Capital Region Airport Authority officials announced today.
June 9, 2015 – The Capital Region Airport Authority hereby invites from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter set forth, sealed bids to provide services to replace the Fuel System at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan. For the information of prospective bidders and their convenience in the submission of a bid, the following documents, which constitute the bid Package, are being furnished to each bidder.
June 4, 2015 – Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport will host a fire training exercise for fire departments throughout the Mid Michigan region on Thursday, June 4, 2015. Airport public safety personnel will work with numerous area fire departments, medical response teams and law enforcement agencies to facilitate training on the unique and most effective techniques to fight an aircraft or fuel fire.
