November 30, 2017 – You could say that Pete Schultz’s life has almost literally revolved around Capital Region International Airport. Pete, who is retiring Nov. 30 after working in air traffic control at CRIA since 1991, grew up two streets south of the airport. Then, as a teenager in the late 1970s, he began working at Custom Aviation and Electronics, the family-owned fixed-base operator that provided various aeronautic services at CRIA.

June 13, 2017 – LANSING – Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport will conduct a training and mock disaster exercise on Monday and Tuesday, June 12 and 13, 2017. Airport public safety personnel will work with numerous area medical response teams, fire departments and law enforcement agencies in order to test communications and emergency response.
