September 24, 2014 – The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) hereby invites from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter set forth, sealed bids to provide Deicing Fluid for use at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan. June 4, 2014 – Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport will conduct a mock disaster exercise on Thursday, June 5, 2014.  Airport public safety personnel will work with numerous area medical response teams, fire departments and law enforcement agencies in order to test communications and emergency response.

May 7, 2014 – The Capital Region Airport Authority will receive sealed bids for the Runway 10R-28L and Taxiway B Rehabilitation project at the Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan, until 3:00 pm (local time) Thursday, May 29, 2014. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the time stated above in the Emergency Operations Center located on the second floor of the Terminal Building.
January 16, 2014 – Starting today, United Airlines will be cutting its lowest fare between Lansing's Capital Region International Airport and Chicago O'Hare Airport and making other adjustments to its fare schedule that will save money for travelers between Michigan's capital and the Windy City.
December 3, 2013 – LANSING – Delta Airlines has announced new, nonstop jet service between Lansing, Mich., and Atlanta, Ga., beginning Feb. 15, 2014.    The new flights will operate once a week on Saturdays between Capital Region International Airport (LAN) and Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL). Flights are scheduled to depart Lansing at 6:45 a.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 8:55 a.m. Return flights are slated to depart Atlanta at 7:45 p.m. with a scheduled arrival time into Lansing of 9:55 p.m.
