October 2, 2018 – American Airlines has again gained federal regulatory approval to continue daily non-stop service between Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport (LAN) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, D.C., maintaining a vital and popular link between the state’s and nation’s capitals.

July 26, 2018 – The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) hereby invites from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter, set forth, sealed bids to provide one Class 5 ARFF vehicle for use at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan. There will be no FAA funds used for the purchase of this vehicle and the associated equipment. The entire bid will be locally funded.
