Disaster Drill Planning
The Capital Region Airport Authority is
inviting responses to a request for proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified
consulting firm with the ability to plan and execute a security/ARFF disaster
drill. The disaster drill will take place in June of 2011. The requirements
will also include a tabletop exercise to be conducted in September of 2010. All
proposals must be submitted to the Capital Region Airport Authority offices no
later then August 02, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern daylight time. A copy of the RFP

What does purchasing do?
The mission of Purchasing is to meet the needs of our internal and external customers by: providing procurement support and advice to divisions; providing accurate information to divisions, citizens and vendors; and procuring goods and services that are of the best value so all divisions may provide the most valuable and economical services.
When are you open?
The Purchasing office is open for business from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except observed holidays, at the Capital Region Airport Authority Corporate Offices at Lansing's Capital Region International Airport Lansing, MI.
May I visit?
Sales representatives are a valuable source of information in obtaining bids, specifications, state of the art advancements or product improvements. They also assist in resolving problems in delivery, billing and payment difficulties, etc. We value your visits. However, we recommend you call for appointments in order to productively utilize our time and yours.
How do I submit bids?
All bids and proposals shall be submitted as specified in the RFPs, RFBs or RFQs and delivered to Purchasing at the Capital Region Airport Authority Corporate Offices at Lansing's Capital Region International Airport Lansing, MI. They must be received and stamped in Purchasing before the due date and time stated. Bids and proposals received after the designated time will be returned unopened and will not be considered. Sealed envelopes containing bids or proposals must state clearly on the outside the vendor's name and address, the bid/proposal number, name of the bid/proposal and the date and time of the deadline for the bid/proposal.
Are you tax exempt?
The Capital Region Airport Authority does not pay sales tax. The Tax Exemption number is: 38-1949776.
